How Green Was My Valley

I will address both clips in one short statement. 

The first clip is a rather classic straight forward church "fire and brimstone" scene of public humiliation that I don't think needs much comment.

So too the second scene of the public humiliation of the "poor" boy form "outside", outside the valley coming to school for the first time. It is a scene that, as I go along understand has been experienced by oh so many of us. In the time slot I mention there are actually at least two scenes. The second is a second humiliation of the school yard prank that if anything has gotten worse as time has gone on.
